A Different Learning Method
The Assimil! introduced a new method of learning languages for beginners. Let's take a closer look at how that method works. You will notice that not only is it different from the other methods, but learning any language using Assimil also feels different.
The strategy used is based on: a method repetitive, an approach interactive, and learn at its own pace.
Learning method: repetition
This method uses natural language acquisition principles with a gradual introduction of vocabulary and grammar, repetition, and context. To reinforce learning, it encourages listening carefully to the sound of your own voice and repeating it again and again and again. What is usually called “the repetition”.
Learning approach: interactive
Each lesson includes some intuitive exercises that learners need to complete. These exercises emphasize thinking in the target language. For instance, learners might translate short phrases, answer questions, or create dialogues. These types of learning activities help to apply knowledge in a practical way.
Learning rhythm: Self-paced
If you're a self-taught learner or a busy person, the Assimil method is for you. You can learn any language from the most popular to less commonly taught languages. By completing exercises at your own speed, you can build your skills and confidence gradually, without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. Assimil offers a versatile and effective way to learn a new language.
Wrap up
For those who want to start learning any language, the Assimil method it's a beginner-friendly option.
